At TX Brand Tea, our journey began on a family farm nestled in Central Texas, where we discovered several hundred acres of wild-growing Yaupon. As we learned more about this unique native plant, we were fascinated to find that Yaupon is the only naturally caffeinated plant native to North America. Historically cherished by Native American tribes, Yaupon was brewed into a tea rich with tradition, flavor, and wellness. Driven by curiosity and passion, we began crafting small batches of Yaupon tea for our family. Its smooth, naturally sweet taste and energizing qualities inspired us to share it with the world. We built a tea facility right on the farm - where we now harvest, dry, roast, and package every leaf ourselves to ensure the highest quality from soil to sip.

Where it All started

TX Brand Tea began with a simple vision and a lot of hard work. In our early days, every yaupon leaf was harvested by hand and carefully roasted in our own ovens. As demand grew, so did our operation, but our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and respect for this native American tea has never changed. Today, we use modern processing methods while staying true to the hands-on values that built our company from the ground up.
